Wanchai Ferry Frozen Entrees

**GIVEAWAY CLOSED**

As parents we always need more time in our lives and in our economy eating out is not always an option when looking to save time. Our family is a big fan of take-out style food at home and Wanchai Ferry is great for the restaurant style flavor but only a portion of the price. We love the Wanchai Ferry at home boxed kit and when we heard they make a frozen meal kit…ALL ABOARD! Talk about a huge time saver to take the meal from freezer to cook-top to table-top in a jiffy.

Wanchai Ferry offers four different flavors with orange chicken, spicy garlic chicken, shrimp lo mein, and sweet and sour chicken. My personal favorite is the spicy garlic chicken while my husband prefers the orange chicken. Each has enough heat to give a nice spicy flavor without being overbearing. We prepare ours with brown rice too for a healthier option. So since we cannot always decide which one to eat we get both and split. Plus with plenty of tasty leftovers.

Want to have a “Night In” where you can have Chinese takeout without the Chinese takeout price? Well you can enter to win a prize pack for Wanchai Ferry and download a $1.50 coupon off your next purchase.

Enter to win the following prize pack with a $25 Target GC. Just tell me what you do to supplement takeout? Do you bake your own pizza? Cook your own Chinese food? Grill burgers and dogs?

  1. Sadly we rarely supplement takeout – what you see is what you get. SOmetimes, we'll add a salad and certainly beverages.

  2. To supplement our takeout we use the grill for steaks, hamburgers and chicken.
    monster6236(at)gmail(dot)com

  3. We make homemade pizzas. The girls love that they get to put whatever toppings they want on theirs. I take a frozen whole wheat pizza crust and divide it into 4. Everyone wins!

  4. We try to make some meals like grilled Hamburgers and fries. Last weekend, my hubby attempted to make our own pizza, with pizza dough and all. Wasn't exactly pizza resturant quality, but it was ok. lol
Thanks so much for this giveaway.

  5. We make our own. I have a good pizza crust recipe, and I also make nachos, black bean burgers and sweet potato fries, and fried rice to satisfy takeout cravings. I want to learn how to make a good hot and sour soup and also domades to mimic some of our other favorites.

Thank you so much for this giveaway! ~Cee~

  9. Here's a twist… When we eat out, I am the queen of the to-go box. I always bring my leftovers home, especially from our weekly trip to the local Mexican joint. I take the extras and create new meals using my own tortillas, beans, salsa, etc. This stretches our eating out budget.

  10. We get a lot of ideas from Food Network so we get creative and grill different types of burgers, we make our own Chinese food from scratch and we create our own homemade pizzas and cooke them on a baking stone in the oven. I'd love to try to grill pizzas.

    safety_chick@hotmail.com

  11. There are times when my sister and I crave burgers, so we'll cook our own if we have ground beef. I like being able to spice them to my liking.

  12. Takeout is a rare treat for us and usually means pizza. So, I've learned to make my own pizza, Chinese food and even my own rolls for 'dogs and 'burgers.

I'd sure enjoy an easier way…maybe Wanchai Ferry is it! Thanks for the chance to win some to try!

    reallyareyouserious at gmail dot com

  22. We don't do takeout a lot due to both the lack of nutritional value and the cost. I usually try and cook extra meals to freeze so we have something to pull out and heat when it gets busy.

  23. Hmm it looks like my first post didn't go through….

I make homemade pizza and homemade Thai food. I also buy them takeout though. I would really like to make homemade chinese food too.

  24. Last year we put a roof on our little patio. This means the grill is now out of the rain, snow, and the sometimes harsh sun. Grilling is great, and I've even got some picky eaters to each grilled zucchini and asparagus with burgers and dogs! In fact, we've been experimenting more, and a favorite has become fish. We have a grillstone and it is just great for haddock and scallops. Little onions and little potatoes on kabobs are fun, too.

My sister can do Pad Thai (inside, that is) but I just can't seem to get the hang of it. Or pizza, but I don't feel as bad about that because neither can she!

  25. I add salad and usually a bread. Sometimes if we get chicken I will make homemade mac and cheese.

  26. We make our own homemade pizza, we even have pizza stone, paddle and bread making book. My husband also makes really great chicken fried rice.

  52. From time to time we will make our own pizza. I buy the dough and then put out the sauce and toppings on the counter and everyone makes their own pizza to their liking.
